At Streetsville Baptist Church, we consider it a blessed responsibility to evangelize and disciple the children among us, knowing each child is "a heritage from the Lord" (Psalm 127:3). Each Sunday morning from 9:45am to 10:15am we have our Sunday School for elementary school age kids. Our children are taught by vetted volunteers who help them read Scripture, learn the truths of God’s Word, and sing songs or praise. We have this before the service so that our kids can also hear the preaching of God’s Word, just as children sat under Christ’s teaching and were included in the congregation in both the Old Testament and New Testament. For parents desiring assistance caring for little ones in the early years, we have a nursery available for babies and preschoolers (up to age 5) during the entire service. There is also a private room available for nursing mothers. For the safety of our children, we follow a child protection policy called Reduce the Risk and require background checks of each volunteer.
